Four days three nights just went passed like that in such speed. Sometimes I wonder, why do happy times pass by so quickly at times. When The fun started, it's already time to go home. Oh well, it was a good camp, good experience of driving to and fro from Penang. It was rather tiring journey as the time to drive to and back from Penang took about 16 or so hours. Phew..... On the way home it was raining quite heavily, at times had difficulty to see the car in front. But overall thank God for journey mercy.
It seems every camp just gets better? Been to quite a lot of the church camps. And I can see and feel each camp are just getting better than the other. More new faces a the camp. Not bad indeed. So as usual, there were sessions, break, lunch, dinner and so on. I shared room with Daniel Lim, Matthew and Mark Yoon. Celebrated William's 21st birthday in some style. Not those sort of "cool" going to some nice place but in a special kind of style.
The speaker was Rev. David Ramayah, humorous speaker. And the things he shared was quite good for application. In terms of the "set-man thingy" and so on. Valuable lessons about standing firm in God's word is fairly important. As well as the importance of family. Besides Spiritual food, there was also physical food, went to places to eat. Interesting it was. But this time I wasn't a glutton, eat till I'm satisfied. Not overload. The hotel was located next to the beach, and so went to the beach and played there, swam at the sea and built sandcastle as well.Overall the camp was great, with the opportunity to drive, fetch someone home as well. Hmmm.... Get to know some of the youths too as well as fellow cg leaders. Took the ferry on the way back. Long time since I last sat the ferry so it was a fun journey but at the same time tiring. Went back, packed up then headed for bed. Lolz...
