Coliseum.

It has been some time since I last posted about places i went to eat. Guess this is my time to update about the latest place I went to eat then. Since there's plenty of fabulous places to eat in the entire nation of Malaysia. From north to south, till east and west. That's cool..... So... My chance of eating in this place nearly flew away if I had not called my dad and ask where was he. I wasn't that pleased to hear that he went to this place without telling me earlier but then thank goodness in the end I managed to go. And so this place is mentioned as the title, yes I went to the Coliseum.

Well, it's not the roman empire's coliseum though but it's the Coliseum Cafe & Hotel. In short it's a restaurant that serves western food. What's so special about this place? Actually this place is old, uses old almost antic furniture. The waiters are old as their age is like 60+ years old or so. More like a place where senior citizens work at. Doesn't sound that interesting and a nice sight to see right? But then when you know how to enjoy back-to-the-good-old-days period, for sure you would enjoy the "oldie" atmosphere and the succulent taste of the food. If so happen you don't like that sort of environment, just go there for the food only. Then you can pay your bills and go off. No problem with that.

This place is located next to the Coliseum theater at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman. I enjoyed the food too much that I forgot to take pictures of the food. Only ended up the platte of food that I finished instead.

So the environment that I described earlier is in fact the truth. As you can see on the picture below.

I had Sizzling NZ Lamb Chop while my parents, gandma had fillet steak, sirloin. Do prepared for the price because not all good food comes with a cheap price. But at least it's a satisfactional price. My food cost about RM30.90, the fillet's RM35.90. Ice lemon tea is Rm3.90 (relatively like a chinese tea cup like those that can put ice those type of cup.) And so I manage to have some of their portions since some can't finish theirs. That made me happy for sure. Why this restaurant? Well, this rest. was made mention in the newspaper before plus I heard my colleage said she going to eat there on the weekend, which reminded me about the place. So besides the famous ol' The Ship, Chilis', TGI Friday and so on. Why not go to the "past" and enjoy the almost same price but in a traditional form of western food that would certainly tickle your taste bud. Haha...

Mid Autumn.

Mid Autumn festival's here and my parents are away for staff retreat. What a day to remember... Sighs... Correction, there's nothing to sigh about. Cause it's not a public holiday, and everything's the same routine as usual. Got o work, go to school, go for tuition and the list goes on and on. Adding to that, by the time I reach home I'd rather just chill at home in front of the computer. Perhaps watch the movie I downloaded or have a nap, eat dinner, go and bath. The fact is that nothing much can be done. Had a reunion dinner last Sunday prior to this festival, so there's no need to go back and have dinner. Why didn't play candles? I guess I'm a bit far "over grown-up" for that.

I still can go and play but too bad there's a big obstacle that I have to overcome. Which is very common to us and all of us have to overcome it somehow or rather. And it is the same old obstacle called "laziness". Too lazy to do the clean up when all the wax's on the floor, lazy to go out of the house and give free blood samples to those baddy mosquitoes. What else? Erm.... Only left my sis, grandmother and I at home. What more can we do? No invitations to go people's house to, to..... Have some event?

What else.... Hmmm...... Nothing much that can be done this Mid Autumn festival this year. Guess will see what can be done next week. Oops, I mean next year. Haha.

It's THE Time Again.

Just an update, Mr Rooster is still alive and crowing his heads off. Which still isn't a good thing for me. Geez...

On the brighter side...... *Ding dong, ding dong, jingle-jingle* presents, carols, fun filled time.

Yeap! You get it right if you were thinking what I'm thinking. It's Christmas that I'm talking about; another 60+ more days to go... "Isn't it a bit too early to mention about it?" some may ask, well I have to say it's never too early to actually think about Christmas. Preparations need to be done before this splendid day of course. Gifts that needed to be stock piled for now and a listing of who to receive the gift, decorations need to be set up and so on. Not leaving programs and fun activities that are planned ahead of time for sure. And not leaving the glorious (not to say that God is not glorious) but anyway that yummy super duper mama-mia food that people are going to have. Ginger bread man or other nice cookies, chocs and lagi more food. Food fiesta I'd say. Those cool drooling cakes too. (Alright stop thinking about food for now). So why am I so excited about Christmas that I have to start a post about it THAT early.

Well, besides the reason that this celebration day comes once in a year like any other festivals but then it's a significant day. Not about the day when you can get a whole lot of presents (perhaps more than the amount of presents you receive during your birthday) but it's the birth of Christ. (Guess you all should know by now the meaning of it & need not for me to elaborate) guess I will anyway for the benefit of those who forgot or have no idea what am I talking. So Christmas is NOT a day of Santa clause or that red nose reindeer but it's the birth of Christ into the world. That God became flesh and was among man. To bring hope to all who seek Him. And that He is the Way the Truth and The Life. Plain Simple.

Decoration of Christmas tree and some may have m=nice turkey that is going to be served that day or on the eve of it. Graceful carols being sung. What a day it would be. And with Christmas, marks another end of the chapter of another year and the beginning of a new chapter of a whole new year ahead. Too some it's not bad, for some they feel they're older by the days. Hah. So far the main activity or I should say program is the Christmas Musical "Christmas is Forever" Hope everyone of you who are reading this would come for this event which falls on the 23rd of Dec@ Menara PGRM- Taman Maluri. Showtime's 5pm (if am not mistaken) and IT"S A ONE DAY SHOW ONLY SO BETTER COME AND WATCH IT OR ELSE YOU WONT SEE IT F-O-R-E-V-E-R Point taken and hope for you guys would pray for this event that it will be a success and that souls will be touched and brought into the Kingdom of God.

So this is like the appetizer before the full post about Christmas like Christmas is the main course. More of an introduction in short. Cheers!!

Mr Rooster.

Rooster oh Mr. rooster, why on earth do you have to be that stupid and start crowing whenever you like to? Is like anytime in the day you would just crow your heads off. What's with the stressful, over-working crow? Aren't you created only to crow in the morning only? As far as I've heard you crowing, it seems you crow in the afternoon, in the evening, at night and even in the wee hours in the morning when the sun is not even up yet. Why oh why do you have to annoy me like that. And I wonder why my other neighbours did not complained about you being noisy. Perhaps they're in a conspiracy with your owner to buy you and have you for their dinner on an auspicious occasion in the lunar calender. Which means you are going to be dead meat. Yes, dead meat you are going to be.

On the other hand, perhaps you already know your fate which is going to be in the cooking pot, but why do you need to keep crowing when you can just shut up and be quiet and just await for you death row. And not to annoy me by crowing nearly all day long... Which is like you're trying to make up the future responsibilities that you won't be fulfilling. Come on, there's no necessity for you to do that. No need to be thoughtful. I got my alarm clock so no need to you to wake me up as early as 4am in the morning.

Besides that, with your presence and your constant annoyance, which made me to have evil thought to eradicate you off. Which is to shoot you with my bb gun. Too bad I still have a kind heart and won't just shoot you off like that. But also to give your owner a good face. In short being polite. So can you just fulfill my one wish if you can understand me. Which is you and other more of your species of roosters who are to come and their fate is the same as yours to mind your own business and lead a quiet life. And give peace to me and mankind. Because I do you no harm. I don't buy you over to be my food, so it's a win-win situation. You don't annoy me, I won't annoy you by thinking of getting rid of you. If you can talk, it would be better. Just tell your owner about your gender when you're small because your owner does not know whether you're a rooster or a hen. So by telling her it would also help you and your precious life.

So I hope Mr Rooster you would understand my plead to give me back my peaceful life. As I do not have it for the past 2-4 years. I only get to have a few months of peace as no auspicious day that is coming. I do have stress and you don't do me any good but making me more stressful. Anyway, hope you would understand what I said above and be kind enough of you to be understanding. Thank you very much.

From,
Your neighbour who's room is facing the back ally where your "house= cage" is.

Ps: Can anyone give me some good or wacky ideas to just get rid of that noisy rooster and roosters that are coming for sure though the owner did not kept to her word of having non-crowing chickens. I'm pretty getting fed up. Thought of calling health officials but then with Malaysian system. Impossible to get them to do their job if I am not to "pay" them.

Good Day, Bad Day.

*WARNING- Not-so-nice looking image ahead. Read with caution.*

And so my wish of joining a futsal competition finally became a reality. This time it's with my company people. People whom I'm not familiar with since I'm still considered a new person in the office. But at least get to know them slightly better. The week before the competition I wasn't aware about the existence of the competition till one day a mail popped up from the office email system. And there it was, a golden opportunity right before my eyes. I did not hesitate much but just find out the details and just signed myself up. For the next few days I went shopping around; guess some of you are astounded that I put the word "shopping" which I rarely do that. Haha. Anyway, yes I went to shop for equipment. More for my safety ones. Since I'm pretty much "scared up" here and there which I think it won't be that pretty and make me much like a "scar person".

I ended up buying shin pads, long socks for soccer. In total spent 30 bucks. Fine, not quite a big deal. I treat it more as an investment instead. Had a game of futsal among ourselves to see how are each other's ability, stamina etc. I was pretty excited and looking forward to the competition. As if a dream came true. After days of waiting the wonderful day arrived. Woke up, packed, dressed up and went to the venue. First time following the map, as the venue was in PJ, SS19. Wasn't sure of the map so just followed the map. With faith that the map would lead me there. Which it did afterall, thankfully.

Briefing started at 9am, and kick-off was at 10am. Oh yeah, it was a Saturday. We were 2nd to start playing. We had our own jerseys, in terms of the company jersey, colour was silver green like that. And black socks labelled Adidas. Quite good quality it is. I wore shorts which was meant for goalkeepers but then it was very short till it almost looked like swimming trunks. But I still wear it since it may enable me to run freely. Had a long sleeve jersey which is quite hot if I were to wear it all the time. So I planned to wear it when I'm playing. When I'm not I would just change. By that time, I felt butterflies in my stomach. It was those over-excited but at the same super anxious sort of feeling which I had it everytime I play till the last game I played.

Overall we had a threesome. Lost one match 0-1, draw 1-1 (last min free kick scored by opponent) and won 3-2. But due to some manipulation of the game we did not manage to enter qualifying round. My other teammates complained, swear-ed, boo-ed cause the last match for our group was between 2 teams from the same company. And you all should guess why they complained. So the last match we played that we won, that time only I made a couple of good saves. Since gaining the momentum as we progressed on. Left the place to a coffee shop though the whole thing had not over as yet since it was no use for us to stay back as we would just sit and watch. Which would be quite boring. That time I had a bruise, between my thigh and butt.

It was slightly pain, not till I reached home and bathed. That was when suffering started. It was awfully painful. Is like 10 needles poking you. What to do, I just can tahan the pain. Won't be frantically screaming like a madman. Sunday, it was painful as my long pants was sort of "scrapping", in other words is gesaran. So it turned out to be a wound since the skin is almost peeled off. Gosh, now is day two of "suffering". Hope the wound would be well soon though. But then is just the day as usual. Back to work. (Though I did thought of taking leave) Sighs.....

Taggy Tag Tagged.

Just to have some fun typing away, and since I was 'tagged' by A. Loh to do so, so I just type out what is needed to be typed out. At the same time can someone out there explain why is there such thing called "tagged"?? I'm still wondering what is it for....

To cut the long sort of crap short, I am needed to state few things "IF" I get 1 million U.S. Dollars. (Too lazy to cut and paste the pics so just use words would do.)

JoeltheYap's Would Do Things IF I get 1 mill dollars.

- Convert into Malaysian Ringgit which amounts to nearly RM 4 mill.
- Store half of the amount in the bank (fix deposit), can get interest from there.
- 10% of the 4 mill which is 400k I think for tithes.
- Still left 1.6 mill, I would still keep those interest that I get from the fix deposit.
- 1.6 mill, I will give about 600k for building fund.
- 1 mill I would use it for a car, maybe buy a Merc SLK.
- Upgrade my computer system which probably use 5k.
- 450k left, would give 50k to my parents. (Sort of pay back what they "invested" in me)
- 400k I would use 100k for investments. Either in mutual funds etc.
- 300k I would try to find a few partners to build a sports complex.
- Emergency use of fix deposit money that I obtain are for the events as below:
~ Getting married
~ Medical Bill
~ Taxes
~ And so on.

So now you get my 2 cents on what would I do if I get 1 mill dollars. Nothing much that I can think of since that is just a dream. If so happen I am blessed with that amount, that time only I would let you all know what am I going to do with it. Heh.

Things In My Head.

My head tend to split open like a watermelon. At last, or I dare say at least I get to taste what is stress. If you want to know how does it feels like, the feeling of it is like there's overload of stuff in tour head. Sleep doesn't seem to be enough, mood can be like a stock market chart that goes up and down, up and down and... You know what I mean. Thus, this is what working life is all about, in the mean time I have just an allowance but working for pretty long hours depending if there is any work needed to be done. So I'm out from my house from 7.45am till 7pm plus plus. Almost 12 hours, half a day gone just like that. Boy, is that call torturing or what.

Gossip is really common in the workplace. What I always do is just listen, and thank God I'm just a new intern so I would not know much about the people in the company thus it's pointless for me to talk about anyone. The fact is that I don't gossip, I keep having my head pounded in not to gossip. I just be better off as a listener since I got no place to "escape" to since I'm stuck on the table with my food. In short lunch. So that is life, working life to be exact. There is both good and bad. Good in terms that sometimes company may have some interesting activities, which comes once in a blue moon in my opinion. While the bad is that they work you till you go "mad".

What else is in my head? Planning, and more planning, brainstorming work need to be done for the upcoming Christmas Musical since I'm the tech director now. So as hectic as it may be, guess I might as well get a day off to just do some brainstorming activities, and to finsh off what needed to be done. What a challenge is that going to be.

Hmm.... What other things is there in my head, uhm.... just looking forward to the next public holiday where I can chill, unwind and relax. It's better to have that once in awhile to get refreshed up. Guess that's all that is in my head for now, got to return to my work if not would be in deep trouble being seen blogging in office. Lolz...
