Since there isn't any proper topic that I can talk about, I shall just describe today (Sunday- 6th of May 2007) Sort of like a journal or diary. Today woke up in the morning and get prepared to go church. It was a rainy morning, there's a temptation to sleep but too bad I've got things to do in church so got to just sacrifice more sleep and head to church instead. While having breakfast, received a sms from my friend saying that he's sick so can't do power point and call me to replace him instead. That time I was stuck on doing video as I was told to replace someone else. So just left things as it is.
Arrived to church, loaded the sermon power point to the main sanctuary pc then headed upstairs. And was told to do power point and other people would do video instead. It was quite a while since I last did power point. Which made me kind of to be on full alert and not let my mind wonder away. Did everything well which I was relieved. After power point I went downstairs for ushering duty. As it was my cell group's turn to do ushering. Well, to me ushering's an important role in church. Because ushering not only to shake hands and welcome people but also help people find a seat and so on. And also a smiling face can brighten someone's day.
After ushering duty went to reception area and sat there till the service was over. Since I listened to the sermon earlier in the morning. Then off for lunch till 4pm. Then went home to have a nap since I was pretty tired as I'm down with a little bit of sore throat which is now getting slightly better. Weather was very hot indeed, this pass few days the weather was exceptionally roasting hot like anything. My room feels more like a sauna, and with my pc on it does gets worst in terms of the heat. Had dinner with andrew and connie and after dinner which is now typing this so-called "diary".
Would sleep around 11pm or so which is an hour away. And hopefully tomorrow may be able to watch 'Spider-man 3'. Thus this a rough summary of what I did today. Since Sundays are always the best day not only to meet up with friends but also to be in the House of God.
